The Manning Road contract consisted of roadway improvements, new storm sewers complete, new water mains, culvert replacement, construction of a new $5M pump station, outlet channel and fisheries compensation area, street lighting, landscaping and associated works. The surrounding area around the site is prone to flood activity and poor soil conditions; a sheet pile cofferdam was erected for the foundation work at the pump station.

All underground utilities were located prior to construction and did not result in any issues.

The project is located in a residential and recreational (Lakewood Park) area therefore management of pedestrian traffic and noise levels were an important feature of this project.
